When are fees charged?+

The 5% service fee is charged to the client when a milestone is approved (fixed-price) or when a time entry is approved (hourly). Jockeys receive their full earnings with no deductions.

How do payouts work?+

Jockeys receive 100% of the contract amount via Stripe Connect. For fixed-price contracts, payouts happen when milestones are approved. For hourly contracts, payouts happen when time entries are approved.

What's included for free?+

Everything you need to get started: creating a profile, posting jobs, browsing portfolios, messaging, the Test Track challenge system, and community forums. You only pay when actual contract work happens.

What does Pro include?+

For $49/month, Pro jockeys get priority placement in search results, a Pro badge on their profile, featured placement in Recommended Jockeys sections, and priority support.

How does escrow work?+

For fixed-price contracts, the client funds an escrow that holds the full contract amount plus the service fee. As milestones are approved, the jockey receives 100% of the milestone amount. The escrow protects both parties.

Can I cancel or get a refund?+

Active contracts can be disputed through our resolution system. For the Pro subscription, you can cancel anytime and retain access through the end of your billing period.
